This cafe never fails to impress. Great service from hardworking waitresses. Delicious food in a lovely environment.

Strongly recommend. Parking is in the roads around. The food is great quality, with a Mexican twist on some of it, but also traditional English. I had an English breakfast. Efficient, well presented, stylish, just a great attitude.

Tucked away along our new walking path, this bustling cafe was a lively discovery! With its trendy, modern decor and upbeat atmosphere, it’s an inviting spot from the get-go. The staff were friendly and full of energy, making the experience feel vibrant and welcoming. We grabbed a black coffee to-go, opting for their single-origin blend—bold and smooth, definitely a standout. With that first sip, we knew we’d be back, and next time, we're looking forward to sitting down for a proper breakfast to fully soak in the experience. This place is definitely worth a visit!

It’s not the best cafe in south east England for no reason. I’ve been about 3 times. This time I ordered the Mexican brunch with avocado and it’s my favourite I’ve had yet really really nice. The food comes quick, prices are reasonable. We had quite a small table for 3 of us and had to wait around 15 minutes but that’s to be expected as it’s so well known around here.

Popped in on Friday for the Vegetarian Full English. All I can say is quality control is top tier at Cafe Yolk, I last ate here 2 1/2 years ago and the quality was exactly how I remember it. The food was delicious and couldn’t fault it at all!! Overall, couldn’t recommend it enough .

Just went for a take out coffee. There were queues to sit down. The coffee was really good. While waiting you could see that the food coming out of the looked great. Unfortunately didn't get to taste any. A short walk from the Royal Berkshire Hospital, it is definitely worth a visit if you have time on your hands waiting.

What a great variety on the menu ..Turkish breakfast...so good after parkrun. Staff really efficient and pleasant. Parking a challenge in area. Cafe full and queue...which I think supports the 5 stars, worth the wait. Thanks guys.

I just love Café YOLK, I always get the Mexican eggs but occasionally I try something else. I decided to have the French toast with pecans, banana and salted caramel it was delicious but very sweet. Would have been nice with some cream or yoghurt to break up the sweetness. I’d definitely recommend. I got an ice tea which was fruity and great. The full English and eggs Benedict are always great too.
